In the XIX Century the NIDO DEL FALCO Mansion was
a strategic point during the Risorgimento Wars; in the case of
point, our ancestor Filippo De Cupis, the Estate owner, was one
of the main officiers of the Voluntary Corp leaded by Giuseppe
Garibaldi, that in 1867 attempted to set free Rome from the
Papal dominion.
