Farm Holiday Resort is in a optimal geographic position in
central Italy, in the Sabina Land, along the way between
Rome and the marvellous medieval towns in Umbria (Spoleto,
Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio...)
All this around only 1 hour by car!
Here you will be able to

wondering historic and natural monuments of Central Italy and,
at the same time, relax in an uncontaminated oasis of queitness!
The Farm
Holiday Resort is located in the historic NIDO DEL FALCO Mansion
(belonging to the "Rea Figi" Country Estate), that is
located near the medieval village of Poggio Moiano, at the
border of the natural park of the Lucretili Mounts, right in the
most pleasant and panoramic area of Sabina (only 60 km away from Rome).
The Nido
del Falco Mansion was an important guard site during the
Risorgimento War in XIX Century: at that time, our ancestor,
Filippo De Cupis, the owner of the Estate, was one of the
head-officiers of Giuseppe Garibaldi during the 1866 campaign
for the liberation of Rome. By virtue of the strategic position,
Filippo De Cupis let his own Mansion to Garibaldi's disposal in
order to place the Headquarter.
The
"Nido del Falco" Mansion still belongs to the De Cupis Family
and was recently refurbished as a holiday resort: guests have at
their disposal 4 autonomous holiday apartments (each extending 40 m2)
with all comforts and one suite (extending 80 m2)
with a panoramic terrace. Also the mansion has a stricking meeting
room, that is located in the natural cave at the ground floor,
where many memorabilia of the Garibaldi Era are exhibited. |
